LOCATION:  Edmond, Oklahoma



We are looking for a skilled mold maker to join our team in the creation of composite molds. The mold maker will be responsible for creating new molds, making repairs or adjustments to existing molds and fabricating various jigs and fixtures used in the production process.

New mold creation will involve hand lay-up manufacturing consisting of manually stacking layers of resin-impregnated fiberglass roving cloth and compressing them to form a solid composite open mold.

Mold repair and maintenance will involve grinding, filling, and polishing surface defects in the mold using grinders, files, sanders, and polishers.

A successful mold maker should have the physical stamina to spend long hours on their feet and perform repetitive tasks. 


Create new molds according to blueprints, drawings, sketches, pictures, and sample parts.

Mix mold-making materials, such as resins, hardeners, and plaster, to create or repair molds.

Cut and place fiberglass mat for laminating.

Perform hand lay-up and roll-out processes using brushes and rollers for laminating layers of fiberglass to form molds.

Maintaining and repairing existing tooling and molds.

Analyzing and correcting mold malfunctions.

Fabricate jigs and fixtures from fiberglass, wood, aluminum, and steel.

Maintain an organized, clean & safe work area.


Prior composite mold-making experience.

Successful completion of drug test.

Successful completion of a criminal background check.


High degree of craftsmanship and technical skill.

Ability to visualize and create complex composite structures.

Attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent manual dexterity, wrist-finger speed, and arm-hand steadiness.

Good active learning, time management, communication, and organizational skills.

Exceptional attitude, accountability, and attendance

The ability to work with minimal supervision.


Standing for long periods of time.

Frequent lifting of approximately 25-50 lbs.

Frequent lifting of approximately 100-250 lbs. with assistance

Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking. 

Frequent repetitive motions.


Manufacturing environment with fluctuation in temperatures.

Work areas that have adequate lighting, ventilation, and heating. 

Protective eye and hearing gear where required.

Frequent exposure to chemical odor and dust.
