Above the Floor Drain Kit
Designed for freestanding bathtub installations, this kit is installed during the rough-in stage before the finished floor is completed. The drain body sits above the subfloor and beneath tile or cement flooring, allowing the tub to connect directly from above. A removable construction cap protects the drain opening during construction and can be reused for multiple air pressure tests prior to setting the tub. While this kit is not required, it offers a convenient option that can simplify installation for many projects.
