At Jetta Corporation, community isn’t just a buzzword. It’s a long-standing tradition for how we do business, treat each other, and show up for those who need us.
From team-driven philanthropy to employee support at every level, the culture that defines Jetta is one where people truly feel seen, valued, and connected. Beyond the feel-good aspect of it all, working together to make a positive impact both inside company walls and throughout our community is how we live out our core values: investment, trust, relationships, and excellence.
Philanthropy at Jetta is rooted in the belief that excellence extends well beyond the products we sell. It means exceeding expectations in every interaction, including how we engage with the communities and people around us.
That was the inspiration behind the creation of a grassroots effort we call the Jetta Culture Committee (JCC). The JCC brings together employees from both the sales and business offices and the manufacturing plant to plan team-wide initiatives that benefit those in need in our community and state. Ideas are gathered through input from employees, then finalized and put into action by the JCC.

The team selects one initiative each quarter, timed to meet seasonal needs and chosen based on how quickly the team can respond and provide maximum impact. To date, the JCC has led the company through a variety of successful missions, including:
> Hosting a blood drive in partnership with the Oklahoma Blood Institute, where employees got real-time updates about how their donations helped save lives.
> Launching the Summer of Care Drive, collecting food and hygiene items for families in need. Jetta employees donated 75 pounds of food to local nonprofit Project 66, providing 90 meals for people facing food insecurity, with additional goods going to the Hope Center of Edmond.
> Planning back-to-school support for local students, with discussions currently underway to either sponsor or partner with an existing nonprofit for school supply donations.
> Preparing for a winter "Stay Warm" drive to collect coats, beanies, and warm essentials for those facing Oklahoma’s cold winter weather without sufficient clothing/supplies.
For us, coming together to make these projects happen is one way we live out our commitment to Investment, in people, in purpose, and in making a difference together. They also reinforce our belief that relationships are the true measure of success, and that by strengthening our connections, inside and outside the company, we become a more compassionate, resilient team.

But standing apart as a care-minded company goes beyond the philanthropic efforts. The employee-first culture that’s become our signature is reflected in the little things, and the big ones, that show people they matter. From covering half the cost of workwear for employees in the production plant and paying for the cleaning (so employees don’t have to dirty their own clothes and put extra wear-and-tear on their personal washing machines) to celebrating personal employee milestones, the leadership team at Jetta has built a solid foundation of Trust and mutual respect for every employee, never losing sight of having a little fun while we’re at it.
There are regular birthday celebrations, including goodie bags hand-delivered by office staff and leadership to employees in the production plant, and personalized gatherings for life’s important milestones. Team members have enjoyed baby showers, wedding showers, and retirement send-offs, all organized by their coworkers with the support of leadership.
Jetta celebrates employee longevity by offering milestone bonuses starting at five years of service, because a little extra appreciation in the form of a bonus is always meaningful.

Sometimes, that appreciation looks a little more like friendly competition. Once a year, the company goes all-out with Jetta Olympics, a week-long celebration of employee appreciation packed with games, treats, raffles, and some downright fierce but friendly battles between teams. From Monday to Wednesday, the team enjoys shared activities during the workday. On Thursday, everyone clocks out early and heads off-site for a big celebration with food, fun, and an award ceremony that sets the competitive spirit into motion for the next year.
As JCC Leader and Jetta Customer Service Manager, Cearealia Swafford, put it, “If we’re going out of our way to help people outside the company, it makes you feel even more valued inside the company. It’s a great feeling to work for an organization that makes caring for people one of its largest priorities.”
At Jetta, building tubs might be the business we’re in, but building connections and community? That’s the heart that reminds us we’re all in this together.
